Decades of Pine Marshall Compactors reside in labs around the world. Pine takes pride in designing and building rugged testing equipment that withstands the test of time. The Marshall Compaction process is demanding. Pine offers two Marshall Compactor models to produce 4″ or 6″ asphalt specimens for hot mix design and performance testing in compliance with AASHTO T 245 and ATM D6926. Typically found in construction materials laboratories, the compactor is used as a tool to determine optimum asphalt content for maximum strength and minimum deformation. The Marshall Compaction method is used to select asphalt binder content at a desired density that satisfies minimum stability and range of flow values.
